Change of date for Queensland Reunion to April 2017

Venue:

Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast

Sign-on day – Friday, 21st April, 2017

Reason for date change:

April 2016 clashed with the Australian Surf Lifesaving Titles being held at Cotton Tree from 16th to 24th April.

August 2016 (Vietnam Veteran’s Day) was also considered but we could not get a commitment from the caravan park

for bulk booking as this is their busy winter season with permanent bookings from southerners.

Factors in favour of 2017:

Outside of school holidays and Easter
Australian Surf Titles being held at Kirra on the Gold Coast that year
School returns on Tuesday, 18th April giving members time to book in that week leading up to sign-on on Friday, 21st April

Accommodation Options:

Cotton Tree Holiday Park has opened a group booking for us – 86 Transport Reunion, 2017.

This is a large park with over 350 sites, 9 cabins and a four bedroom beach house.

They will accept bookings now for members with payment of a $30 deposit
They will advise park rates closer to the reunion
On booking you will need to advise the park of the overall size of your van / motor home and the number of people
